The Cole Academy's whole-child philosophy fosters academic, social and emotional development at an age-appropriate pace specific to each individual child in our care. Our advanced curriculum is consistently updated to ensure it's adapting to the latest developmental research and proven models.

At The Cole Academy, our milestone-based model is designed to foster deep connections between children and their primary caregivers while providing a stable, consistent environment for growth.

• Infants - 6 weeks to 12 months. Focused on sensory exploration and secure attachment with a consistent caregiving team.
  
• Wobblers - 12 months to 21 months. Supports emerging independence; maintains consistent primary caregivers to support walking, feeding, language, and social development.
  
• Toddlers - 22 months to 30 months. Rhythmic daily schedule preparing children for preschool; builds emotional maturity and security for active peer group interaction.
  
• Preschool and Jr Kindergarten - Our program is structured to support children through key developmental milestones and intentional school-year transitions. Depending on the specific campus, our preschool structure may include:

• • Combined Preschool/JrK: A cohesive multi-age learning environment.
  • Two-Stage Transition: Separate Preschool and JrK classrooms.
  • Three-Stage Progression: A developmental track through Preschool 1 (approx. 2.5–3.5), Preschool 2 (approx. 3.5–4.5), and JrK (approx. 4.5 through graduation).

Once enrolled, children typically transition into their new schedules annually during the summer. This ensures they remain with the same peer group and teaching team for the full school year, allowing for consistent progress monitoring through our seasonal assessments and aligned curriculum.

The Cole Academy has ample, qualified staff to ensure the utmost attention to your child. Our ratios exceed licensing and accreditation standards at most times of the day.

Cole Academy teachers, caregivers and aides are staffed to a level that achieves the following ratios during instructional times:

• Infants, up to 1:3
• Wobblers (12-21 months), up to 1:4
• Toddlers (22-30 months), up to 1:6
• Preschool (older 2s, 3s and JrK) up to 1:8
• During naptimes, brief staff transitions or other group activities, the ratios may differ but do not exceed licensing standards.
