The Cole Academy's whole-child philosophy fosters academic, social and emotional development at an age-appropriate pace specific to each individual child in our care. Our advanced curriculum is consistently updated to ensure it's adapting to the latest developmental research and proven models.

Our curriculum highlights include:

Class sizes are kept at sizes that create intimate learning environments while still allowing for diversity and formation of communities. These are most often far smaller than you will find in other preschools.

The Cole Academy also is unique in our attention to specific developmental milestones in the formation of our classrooms. Most schools group a wide span of ages together, while The Cole Academy ensures constant eye-opening new adventures and challenges with age- and readiness-based groupings that grow along the following trajectory:

• Infants - 6 weeks to 12 months, or when walking
• Wobblers - 12 months to 18 months
• Toddlers - 18 months to 24 months
• 2s - 24 to 36 months, or when potty trained and academically/socially ready for 3s
• 3s - 36 to 48 months (or 42 months, depending on the child's eventual graduating date)
• 4s - 42 months - 60 months (or younger than 60 months, depending on graduating date)
• Junior Kindergarten - Child's final preschool year, an environment very similar to Kindergarten

The Cole Academy has ample, qualified staff to ensure the utmost attention to your child. Our ratios exceed licensing and accreditation standards.

Cole Academy teachers, caregivers and aides are staffed to a level that achieves the following ratios during instructional times:

• Infants, up to 1:3
• Wobblers, up to 1:4
• Toddlers, up to 1:5
• 2 year olds, up to 1:6
• 3-5 year olds, up to 1:8
• During naptimes, brief staff transitions or other group activities, the ratios may differ but do not exceed licensing standards.
